В статье рассматривается влияние гендерных стереотипов на выбор видов физической активности студентами. На основе анализа научных подходов и результатов собственного эмпирического исследования выявлены устойчивые представления о «мужских» и «женских» видах спорта. Показано, что данные установки продолжают оказывать заметное влияние на мотивацию и поведение студентов, несмотря на расширение возможностей выбора. Отмечается необходимость пересмотра традиционных подходов к организации физического воспитания в вузах

This article examines the influence of gender stereotypes on students’ choice of physical activity. Based on an analysis of scientific approaches and the results of ourownempirical research, persistent notions about “male” and “female” sports are identified. It is shown that these attitudes continue to significantly influence students’ motivation and behavior, despite the expansion of their choice. The need to reconsider traditional approaches to the organization of physical education in universities is noted
