<p>The article examines the features of interdisciplinary relations between disciplines of various blocks of the curriculum for training specialists in the field of forensic examination. The author attempts to explain the need to take into account the specifics of teaching general engineering disciplines in universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs when training future forensic experts. The article emphasizes the need to avoid repetition of the studied material when teaching such academic disciplines as “Materials Science” and “Forensic examination of substances, materials and products.” At the same time, it is pointed outthat these disciplines are closely related and that there is a need to usedifferent approaches in choosing the material to study. The author shows by examples how the East Siberian Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia currently carries outinterdisciplinary communication of the disciplines of the basic part of the curriculum of specialty 40.05.03 Forensic examination, the focus of training engineering expertise</p>
<kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>межпредметные связи</kwd><kwd>«Материаловедение»</kwd><kwd>«Судебная экспертиза веществ</kwd><kwd>материалов и изделий»</kwd><kwd>инженерно-технические экспертизы</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>interdisciplinary relations</kwd><kwd>“Materials Science”</kwd><kwd>“Forensic examination of substances</kwd><kwd>materials and products”</kwd><kwd>engineering and technical expertise</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><ref id="ref1"><mixed-citation publication-type="other" xml:lang="ru">Приказ Министерства науки и высшего образования Российской Федерации от 31 августа 2020 г.
