<p>Formulation of the problem of determining the constitutional and legal limits of the use of artificial intelligence in the lawenforcement activities of public authorities and identifying the boundaries beyond which algorithmization contradicts the nature of public power and fundamental human rights guarantees. Due to the fact that the introduction of digital technologies is accompanied by a redistribution of decision-making functions and a reduction in human discretion, there is a need for theoretical understanding of the admissibility of delegating authoritative powers to algorithms and assessing their status within the system of public administration. Methods: formal legal analysis, comparative legal method, doctrinal interpretation, elements of the concepts of the algorithmic society and digital constitutionalism. Results: Algorithmization of lawenforcement leads to a transformation of decision-making mechanisms butdoes notalter the nature of the subject of public authority.
