Настоящая статья посвящена исследованию содержания цели восстановления социальной справедливости при назначении наказания за экологические преступления в Российской Федерации. Проводится анализ судебной практики с точки зрения указанной проблематики, обосновывается специфика экологических преступлений. Выявляются проблемные аспекты на пути достижения цели восстановления социальной справедливости и предлагаются пути решения выявленных проблем. Сделан вывод о необходимости перехода от карательной к восстановительно-компенсационной модели назначения наказания за экологические преступления.

This article is devoted to the study of the content of the goal of restoring social justice in the sentencing of environmental crimes in the Russian Federation. It analyzes judicial practice from the perspective of this issue and substantiates the specifics of environmental crimes. The article identifies problematic aspects in achieving the goal of restoring social justice and suggests ways to solve these problems. The article concludes that it is necessary to switch from a punitive to a restorative and compensatory model of sentencing for environmental crimes.
